Demon Slayer

1. To begin the quest, speak with Grufeld Bach in the church on the northeastern side of Varrock.





2. He asks for your assistance in reclaiming a stolen magical artefact - accept his quest.



3. He sends you in search of an ancient tome of demonology, that may have fallen into the wrong hands. He fears that the perpetrator will use it to summon an ancient demon named Delrith from the demon plane. He also shares with you the knowledge that the only way to rid of Delrith is through an ancient holy sword called Silverlight.



4. Continue into the church, and open the trapdoor to climb down into the crypt.





5. Walk north and speak with the three spirits.





6. Ask them for Silverlight, and they will tell you that you must pass their three trials in order to obtain the sword.



7. Head west to start the trial of body. Once you accept the trial the ten piles of bones will turn into level-2 skeletons - you must kill them all to pass the trial.





8. Once completed, head back to the center room and head north for the trial of faith.



9. The trial of faith requires you to walk across the chasm using "faith". You must follow the steps exactly as the spirit of faith guides you, doing otherwise will cause you to fall into the chasm where you must start from the beginning.





10. Once you've completed the trial of faith, head back to the center room and move east to the trial of mind.



11. The trial of mind consists of a series of questions that must be answered correctly.



12. The first question asked is "Why are you in this place?" and your response should be "I seek Silverlight."





13. The second question asked is "And what is Silverlight?" and your response should be "A sword that slays demons."





14. The third question asked is "Why do you require a sword that slays demons" and your response should be "A powerful demon threatens Varrock."





15. The fourth question asked is "Who is this demon?" and your response should be "Delrith."





16. The fifth question is "And who sends you to claim Silverlight and fight Delrith?" and your response should be "Grufeld Bach."





17. If all are answered correctly, the trial of mind is completed.



18. Once you've completed all of the trials, head back to the center room and speak with the spirits. They will relinquish the barrier and disappear.





19. Reclaim Silverlight from the rock.





20. Head back up the ladder, and speak with Grufeld Bach. He tells you that the demon is about to be summoned and that you should make your way to the Zamorakian church in southeastern Varrock in an attempt to stop the ritual.





21. Make your way to the church and climb down the trap door.





22. As you enter the crypt, you must kill a string of level-2 monks to get through the magical barriers.





23. Once they're all killed, continue on to the main room. Level-15 Delrith will be summoned and you must slay him with Silverlight equiped.





24. Once slain, you will be taken back to the Saradominist church in the northeast. Speak with Grufeld Bach to finish the quest.



25. Quest complete!
